With the approach of warmer weather, we are all looking forward to spending more time outdoors enjoying the warmer weather. Conyngham Residents are reminded that they are responsible for clean-up after their pets while walking them on public property. Un-restrained pets running at large on public or private property without the consent of the property owner is also prohibited by borough ordinance. Cooperation of pet owners will help keep our community both safe and clean.
Street sweeping is currently being done in Conyngham Borough. In order for the street sweeper to work correctly, residents are asked to NOT SWEEP the cinders into piles.
Throughout 2015, Conyngham Borough in cooperation with the Conyngham Borough Historical Society, Conyngham Valley Civic Organization (CVCO), the Valley Veterans of Foreign War (VFW), and the Conyngham Borough Downtown Business Association will be hosting a Hometown Hero Banner Program.
We are seeking your help in sponsoring a Hometown Hero Banner.
Each individual banner will be unique and honor a specific soldier including their picture, branch of service, era of service, and hometown. There is space for dozens of banners on street lights throughout the Borough. The program is non-political and non-partisan. It is purely a living memorial to those soldiers from Conyngham Borough and surrounding communities who served our country.
Please join us in celebrating the Veterans of the Conyngham Valley.
Recycling bins (one per household) for use at the Butler Township Recycling Center are available for Conyngham residents to pick up at the Conyngham Borough Building during regular office hours, Monday –Friday, 9:00- 4:00.
